Yamba- sunny days, good surf..relaxation

Today was another totally clear day..sunny with light SW winds until this afternoon when the wind turned onshore. We had a relaxed morning and then went back to Angourie. The point was no good for surf today so we walked about 1k down the back beach and surfed right at the southern end- a really good surf! It was also beautiful, the surroundings adding to the joy of the experience. No houses, no cars, just the natural headland, two sea eagles soaring in the vibrant blue sky overhead and a small group of surfers. It was about 3ft again and good fun.
We walked back and had a picnic, then came back to Yamba and spent the afternoon wandering around the shops, before buying fish and chips and eating dinner early while the sun set. I think we'll be going to bed early and rising early most nights!
Hopefully more of the same tomorrow! We do have plans for tomorrow night though- dinner in the Yamba pub overlooking the beach and a movie! hehe... i think we like this life. :-)
Hope all's well with everyone. Keep in touch.
